How do I create a digital photo album Web

To install Google Picasa and create a Web Album

Almost everyone now has a digital camera or camera phone. Therefore it is very useful, but fun too, to upload photos to a digital photo album for your friends and family (and others) can view your photos online, print and send.

To do this you need a service where you can upload your photos and save. One of the most useful photo album services is Picasa from Google. This is free and you've pretty much space and it works pretty easy too.

You will however have a Google Account to make a photo album, but this is free.

If you do not have a Google account, then your first one (free) account to make. With this application you get a Gmail account. This email account you can then several (free) services requests.

Step 1:

(A new window will open).

Step 2:

After you have created an account, you going to Picasaweb link to a photo album to make.

Step 3:

Login with your Google account and click LOGIN.

Basically, your Picasa Web album finished.

To upload your photos, you now get the (free) PC program PICASA download. Through this program you can bulk upload photos at once to your Picasa web album. Click the button (to your Picasa web page) FREE DOWNLOAD to start the download, then you should probably back on a button to download.

Step 4:

Download the Picasa program to your PC (remember where you save this file)

Step 5:

Install Picasa by double-clicking the file you just downloaded. Picasa will now be installed.

Creating a new album and upload photos to this album:

Open Picasa on your PC.

Depending on whether it is the first time you start Picasa, there may be a question to be on your hard drive to search for pictures and gather in Picasa. Follow the directions for your wishes on.

Step 7:

The selection of pictures from a folder where you want to make an album

• Go to Picasa and click on FILE, then click Add Folder To Picasa
  There is now a new windowtje opened.
• Choose the folder where your photos and click on the radiobuttop ALWAYS SCAN (with eye) then click OK.
  Always scan means that when you add new pictures to this folder, they are displayed directly in Picasa and you can add it later to an existing web.
• BROCHURES Under the folder you want to upload
• Then click once with your right mouse (a popup menu appears).
• Choose: Upload to Web Albums
  A login screen appears where you Google your username and password must be entered. After logging in, there will be a new window where the name of the folder as a web album is displayed, click on + New name to another web album to enter with an optional description.
• Only now you get to the SIZE TO UPLOAD. Choose 1024 (Medium) just for showing your photos. If you choose 1600 (large) then the upload long time, but also for others who want to see the picture through your web album.
• Click the option to PUBLIC if everyone can see your album. Then click UPLOAD.
• Now a progress bar so you can see how long it takes all your photos are uploaded.

Viewing your web album

Open your browser and enter as URL:
http://picasaweb.google.com/ [name of your Google account]
This address can also mail to your friends or family or whoever.

Add additional photos to an existing web

• Open Picasa on your PC. Go to the folder where the photo (s) are.
• Select the photo or multiple photos by pressing shift with the pictures to click.
• Click with your right mouse and choose Add To Album, then choose one (existing) web album where pictures should go this extra.

Additional photos from Picasa:

Picasa has many possibilities. A useful tools for example, first you edit photos. You can do this by clicking on a picture (in Picasa) double-clicking (it will open). On the left of the photo will appear all options to do various operations and effects.
